Our new adventure.

We are moving! Eric has accepted a job in Carlsbad, New Mexico with Intrepid Potash. He will be going down there at the end of the month and the kids and I will stay here in Muscatine until our house sells.

I went with him when he interviewed in July. The city is small like Muscatine and it was HOT and DRY. The Pecos River goes right through the city and the river front was really pretty.
We visited the Carlsbad Caverns and I can't wait to take the kids there. I really liked the palm trees. We told the kids we would try to get a pool and they are excited to get new rooms. Eric's sister lives only 4 hours away in Albuquerque and we are a little closer to our family in Idaho and Utah.

We will all miss Iowa very much. It has become home to us. We have great friends here and they have become our "family". We won't miss the severe weather though.
