WOW It's hot outside! I took six kids and the dog for a walk to the park. They all whined the whole time! Now they are playing in the sprinkler and a lot happier.
I just picked up the kids' report cards for the year. I am so proud of the kids! They both finished the year above grade level in reading and math!
Our reading goal this summer is 50 books for Peyton and 100 books each for the girls. If they reach it we are going to the Air and Space Museum in Nebraska. They have never had a problem reaching their goals in the past so I am sure they will make it.
Well I am off to watch the kids run through the sprinklers and I guess I should help Eric with some yard work too.
It has been way hot here as well. We avoid the heat though, a toddler and a pregnant woman in the heat just does not mix well :)
